The photos tell the story of this beautiful place. A perfect place to relax and watch the waves and sun. We loved the beach, for us it was very private, and we loved being so high up on the cliff. Local tavernas were excellent.

Excellent stay. From the listing and previous reviews, we arrived with relatively high expectations. The house, location, and people exceeded every single one. Unforgettably gorgeous. Souls revitalized.

Pictures do not do this place justice. It is quiet, peaceful and serene. The patio is where our time was spent and with good reason. The morning and afternoon sun shine down on it, which makes sunning and reading books perfect. When we became too hot, we walked down the steps to the beach. A bit rocky near the place but a 10-minute walk up the beach to a semi-circle of rocks provides a calm and less rocky pool to cool down in. Place was equipped for cooking (you’ll want to bring your groceries from Heraklion). Shower had strong pressure as did the outside shower. AC units kept the place comfortable. Come here to relax. You will truly be away from the crowds.

Wer das Meer und einsame Strände liebt, ist hier genau richtig!! Allerdings soll man gut zu Fuß sein, da man zum Strand 113 (zum Teil unebene) Stufen runter laufen muss. Das Wasser ist sehr klar und relativ warm (Anfang September). Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber und hat für die Terasse angenehme Sitz- und Liegemöglichkeiten. Schlaf- und Wohnbereich sind klimatisiert. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Im nächst gelegenen Dorf (Tsoutsouros) kann man gut einkaufen. Es gibt mehrere Supermärkte und eine Fleischerei. In verschienden Tavernen kann gut essen. Frischen Fisch gegrillt oder gekocht findet man bei der Taverne Sarakina (sehr guter Koch!). Die Hausbesitzer, Alexandros und seine Frau Sinofia, sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns bei ihnen sehr wohl gefühlt!

Με βαριά καρδιά φύγαμε από το σπίτι του Δημοσθένη! Δε θα μπορούσαμε να φανταστούμε πιο όμορφο μέρος! Ευχαριστούμε πολύ και εις το επανιδείν!
