Aliori estate is sited on the island of Crete in Greece.
More specifically, we are on the southern shores of the island, around 60 kilometers south from Heraklion, the capital city of Crete, and the international airport "Nikos Kazantzakis".

In the family property there are four separate homes both for private use and for rent. They are built on different levels around a small square located 25m above sea level, creating a picturesque neighbourhood. They all offer large verandas and magnificent views to the sea and the surrounding mountains. Cretan nature is present everywhere and each season has its own distinct beauty in this place.
There are two stone built staircases to the beach with around 120 steps each one of them.
The access to each house is independent as well as to the staircases leading to the beach. The privacy of each site is fully secured.

Visitors can move freely in the estate except for the private area of each residence, which is clearly delimited.

Given the direct contact with nature, the visitor should sometimes expect the presence of annoying insects (flies etc.) as well as volatile weather conditions, especially in the wind. Otherwise the sea is usually calm and safe without any currents and tides. Sea bottom and marine life is very interesting for those who love snorkeling. The use of stairs to the beach requires good physical condition as it consists of about 120 steps. There are two benches along the stairs where you can seat and catch a breath if you wish so.

Tsoutsouros
The nearby village of Tsoutsouros is about one and a half kilometer away to the west. There is regular public transport available from Tsoutsouros to Arkalochori and Heraklion during the summer period. The most convenient way however to get here is with your own or a rented car. Alternatively we can arrange your transfer at a reasonable cost.

Driving Directions
Use the coordinates 34.984478° ( 34°59'4.12"Ν), 25.301792° ( 25°18'6.45"E) on your favorite navigation application to find the route from Heraklion airport. I suggest via Heraklion - Arkalochori (new road) - Skinias - Kato Kastelliana - Tsoutsouros. At the entrance of the village of Tsoutsouros turn left and take the road to Kastri and Keratokambos (East direction). 1 kilometer after the village you will see on your right hand, a dirt road which after 100 meters leads to a gate.
